THE MEMBERS OF THE BHARAT SCOUTS & GUIDES, NF RAILWAY, BADARPUR DISTRICT ASSOCIATION TOOK AN INITIATIVE TO OBSERVE VAN MAHOTSAV WEEK FROM 1ST JULY 2021 TO 7TH JULY 2021. 

Van Mahotsav is an annual pan-Indian tree planting festival, occupying a week in the month of July. During this event millions of trees are planted.

It was initiated in 1950 by K. M. Munshi, the then Union Minister for Agriculture and Food, to create an enthusiasm in the mind of the populace for the conservation of forests and planting of trees.

We observed Van Mahotsav Week with various activities like -

DAY3:-AWARENESS VIDEOS, GROUP TREE PLANTATION 

DAY4:-A SESSION ON GREEN REVOLUTION VIA ONLINE VIDEO CALLING PLATFORM

DAY5:- ARTICLE WRITING COMPETITION

DAY6:-AWARNESS DRAMA ON TREE

PLANTATION, AWARENESS DANCE

DAY7:-RALLY IN LOCALITY, GROUP TREE PLANTATION & POSTERING.

A Total of 67 numbers of members from Badarpur District Association were there in the observation.

Our aim was to awaken the people so that everyone could be interested in planting and caring for the tree.

Hopefully we have been able to get our message out to everyone and from now on we promise we will take good care of our surroundings and plant as many trees as possible to make our environment better. So that we can live in a beautiful, transparent and good environment in the future.
