The theme of the Jamboree is "WA", the spirit of unity. The symbol for WA can be best presented by origami paper crane. Today, Jamboree Social Media Team visited The 1st Taiwan Scout Troop. The presented their paper crane. Miss Yoshino of the Social Media Team comes from Japan. She shared with the Scouts what it means by paper crane ~ wishing people good health and long life as the thousand-year-crane, and also the peace and harmony. The Taiwanese troop also showed their most passionate welcome cheers to Miss Yoshino. It was a very fun interaction between the two cultures.
