The Cub Centenary was celebrated in Romania too! The cubs gathered together to organize a surprise party for Akela, at his 100th anniversary. They kept Shere-Khan at distance, in order not to ruin the party and have prepared the jungle for the big event: researched the surroundings, they learned how to climb in the "trees" to be prepared to decorate the jungle for celebration and how to create decorative objects, they sent invitations to all the friends in the Jungle and have created piñatas and party suits. When all the things were as expected, they asked Akela to come to the Rock Council where they surrounded him with a lot of love and presented their gifts (stories, songs, dances, shows, etc)! It was a wonderful celebration! Cubs feedback in two sentences: "When you get to the best moments you need to go home. Can't the camp last for 2 weeks?" Akela, we do hope you enjoyed your birthday party, at least as much as we did! Happy birthday!
