SPECIAL DIWALI CELEBRATION

*Special Deepawali celebrated by Rovers and Rangers unit Mandi in slum area* On 04-11-2021, like every year, the Rovers and Rangers unit of Vallabh Government College Mandi celebrated the holy festival of Deepawali with the needy people by visiting Mandi (Bhuli) Basti. Various sports and cultural programs were also organized by the team for the children in Basti and at the same time this festival of Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm by giving them sweets, candles and calendars. On this occasion, the Principal and Group Leader of the college, respected Dr. Y.P. Sharma ji was present with the team. The Principal extended his warm wishes and greetings to the children and their families on the occasion of Diwali. At the same time, while talking on the importance of education, encouraged them towards education and also asked them to avoid bad habits like drugs. Giving the example of the Diwali festival, the principal said that the lamp of the light of knowledge should always be lit in our lives. On this occasion, 18 rovers and rangers were present in the presence of Group Leader respected Dr. Y.P. Sharma ji and under the guidance of rover scout leader Dr. Hem Raj and ranger leader Mrs. Jyoti Thakur ji. About 50 people participated in this program.
