UP-SKILLING OUR NATION'S YOUNG WORKFORCE A SERIES OF WEBINARS ON "UP-SKILLING OUR NATION'S YOUNG WORKFORCE" was organised by the Bharat Scouts and Guides, National Headquarters on every ‘Wednesday’ starting from 08th December 2021. The series of webinar on “UP-SKILLING OUR NATION’S YOUNG WORKFORCE” to motivate a large number of youth to take up skill development training. The training focused on how to do something specific and results in a learned skill that can be put to immediate use to become self-reliant with the theme “Skilled Youth - Nation’s pride” The topic – Proficiency Badge – Cook was held on 16.03.2022 from 4.30 pm to 6.30 pm. The Resource Speaker was Sri.PRASHANT GAIKWAD LT (S) of Maharashtra. Role of proficiency Badge, characteristics of proficiency badge were discussed. Came to know how to make many dishes, ingredients of balanced diet, Carbohydrates, Fats, Protein, Vitamins and Minerals, Dietary Fibre, Water. Daily ration for one scout. Information regarding different types of Choola, Local Dishes like Bhaji/Pakoda, Vada Pav/Aloo Bonda, Paneer Tikka, Talipeeth, making of Pooha were received. We got to know about serving of food in proper manner and methods of storing of food in hygienic manner. The webinar was fantastic, very much thrilled. Got many insights into the Cook Proficiency Badge. I thank all the officials of Bharat Scouts and Guides for conducting such a wonderful webinar.
