 
Serving humanity during the pandemic COVID-19.
After the COVID -19 pandemic break out Sheldon Kiplagat a scout from Mombasa, Kenya scouts took a step and decided to volunteer as a support and quick response team at their state county public health.
This initiative was inspired by his scouting skills and (UJASIRI)  bravery of helping during the crisis time despite the risk on contacting the virus due to exposure. he was ready to save humanity by going to the field with health officers covid-19 response team of Mombasa county health department to take samples, do data entry on the summary sheet of patients and co-ordinate to the Covid-19 labs for test later after submit results to the individuals.
the most calling part of this experience was calming casualties -infected patients and affected family members to a calm state of understanding of their situation and giving them hope of staying positively  for a better tomorrow .
from the scouting law and skills he was brave enough to volunteer from 12th FEB 2020 to 12th April 2022 when the positivity rate in  his country reduced.
all this was because of scouting skills and knowledge he had as well as a passion of helping the community despite the situation at hand.
