140 members of Soma Hellinon Proskopon (Scouts of Greece) participating in summer camps located in the areas of Mati, Agios Andreas and Agia Marina safely abandoned the forehead of wildfires. The children and their Scout Leaders, divided into two groups, were initially transferred to secured facilities in the wider region of Attica and then returned to their Scout Groups and their parents. Soma Hellinon Proskopon (Scouts of Greece) assists local administrative authorities in the confrontation of the untold disaster. Adult members of Soma Hellinon Proskopon (Scouts of Greece) support firefighting forces by offering them water and food supplies. Also, to a massive mobilization for the collection of essential items and foodstuffs to be transferred to the affected areas, Soma Hellinon Proskopon (Scouts of Greece) organized four concentration station in Attica Region.
