Scouts Empowered at the Africa Scout Day International Youth Camp
Scouts from different parts of the world continued to receive numerous training at the Africa Scout Day International Youth Camp in Arusha that began on 8th March. Some of the training opportunities at the camp include environmental conservation, fighting against the vice of corruption, crime prevention, messengers of peace, dialogue and youth entrepreneurship.
Many of the facilitators leading the training at the camp highlighted how information shared through Scouting can easily spread to other young people - since they come form different places they can easily transfer the knowledge to their friends. Scout are quick to understand!
Majority of the Scouts who received the training have said that, they are happy to have been give the chance to build the capacity on different topical issues, and will endeavor to share the same with others to enhance education in their communities.
