The 27th of May is celebrated as the National Children's Day in Nigeria. This day affords billions of kids the avenue to interact amongst themselves in a nonformal and relaxed atmosphere. They also participate in a match past event which marks the height of the celebration. Scouts also join in this celebration. They ensure the safety of kids during and after the event (through a crowd control exercise) and also conduct parade and other acrobatic displays.
