8th of January 2016 was epic in the history of The Scout Association of Nigeria, as the Former President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria Armed Forces, Chief Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo - GCFR, took the Scouting Oath as Champion of Messengers of Peace in Africa and in Nigeria. The Former President of Nigeria promised to enhance the visibility of Scouting in Africa and at the World at large. The World Leader was decrated with the homor of Ambassador of Messengers of Peace in Africa, with a promise to bring the like of Alhaji Aliko Dangote (The Richest Man in Africa) into Scouting and Many more other Financial Moguls. We would like to appreciate the good gesture of our "BABA" as popularly called in receiving us very well. On behalf of the National Scout Patron, His Excellency Muhammadu Buihari - GCFR, President and Commander-in-Chief of the Nigeria Armed Forces, The Chief Scout of Nigeria, Emgr. Ahmadu Rufai Mohammed- MON and the entire Scouting body in Nigeria, we say Good Hunting and Good Scouting.
