Repurposing Plastic Wastes from Lake Beaches

The Project aims to carry out a massive awareness on managing plastic waste and its effects. Scouts and Community members will collect plastic wastes from the beach of a local lake and repurpose it into primary school educational Materials (Geometrical, shapes, numbers and alphabetical letters) then these will be donated to primary schools. Most of the beaches have been polluted and are being used as damping sides as such this possess danger to the life under water at the same time the use of water from the lakes becomes contagious as there is no clean water and proper sanitation and this brings about diseases such as Cholera, Diarrhea and dysentery. Most communities are living in perils as this affects their life in one way or the other. Most communities are living in perils as this affects their life in one way or the other. In response to the escalating environmental concerns at lake beaches, this report outlines a sensitization initiative aimed at promoting responsible waste management practices.
