Scouts from the Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Bacolod City Council through the Senior Scout Committee, Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Negros Occidental Council, and the Philippine Youth Network for Interfaith Dialogue took part in a youth colloquium on the Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP) - National Democratic Front of the Philippines (NDFP) Peace Process organized by the Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform (PEPP) on August 6, 2022 at Negros Residences, Bacolod City. The Philippine Ecumenical Peace Platform (PEPP) believes in the one goal and that is to work for a just, equitable and enduring peace in the Philippines through principled peace negotiations and authentic dialogue. PEPP wishes to work together with the ecumenical youth in the country to highlight peace, or the lack of it, as a major issue in the post May 2022 election. The goal of the one-day youth colloquium is to equip the participants on the history of the GRP-NDFP Peace Process and the ways to promote peace and dialogue to resolve conflict.
