Parabolic Solar Cooker

Parabolic Solar Cooker

This is a parabolic solar cooker we just used today in the afternoon to make some popcorns. Parabolic solar cookers use a parabolic-shaped reflector that concentrates sunlight at one point (focal point) in order to generate heat for cooking. The heat generated can reach temperatures of 350 degrees and above making the cooking system ideal for grilling and frying. Parabolic heat standards can be compared to that of conventional stoves such as electric and gas burners. Solar energy is just amazing!
