Washington DC USA FREE EVENT Saturday, May 7, 2016 Around the World Embassy Tour Time: 10am to 4pm Participants travel the world as they experience the food, art, dance, fashion, music, innovations, and manufactured goods from different countries. More than 50 embassies opened their doors to visitors in 2014, allowing guests to pet alpacas, play with robots, learn indigenous dances, and more! Come see the world through the embassies of missions of our global neighbors. Embassies participating previously include the African Union Mission, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Botswana, Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ethiopia, Fiji, Ghana, Iraq, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Korea, League of Arab States, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Mozambique, Nepal, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Zambia. Washington DC USA FREE EVENT May 14 Shortcut to Europe: European Union Embassies' Open House International Scouting Time: 10am to 4pm Visitors to the European Union (EU) Delegation and the embassies of the EU member states will enjoy the authentic music, dance, food, film, and art of 28 distinctive nations. Guests may sip tea at the British Embassy or get a henna tatto in the Turkish Embassy. Previous participants in the embassy open houses include Croatia, Denmark,Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, United Kingdom, Austria, Cyprus,Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Romania, Spain,Belgium, the Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Poland, Slovakia, and Sweden. We would like to engage with pictures/videos of scouts associations to show to local American Scouts on May 14th 2016
