National Scout Jamboree
What inspired you to take up the project?
The National Scout Jamboree inspired me to participate because it provides a unique opportunity for scouts from across the country to come together, learn new skills, build friendships, and strengthen leadership qualities. As an escort teacher, I was motivated to support and guide the scouts, helping them gain valuable experiences and promote the spirit of scouting.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and effective communication. I also gained valuable experience in coordinating large-scale events, managing diverse groups of participants, and fostering cooperation and resilience among scouts. The experience reinforced the values of service, discipline, and lifelong learning.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
I coordinated with school authorities and parents, prepared participants for the event, arranged travel and logistics, and escorted the scouts to the National Scout Jamboree. Throughout the program, I guided and monitored the participants, ensured their active involvement in all activities, and provided support to help them learn and represent the school and Dzongkhag effectively.
