Nachung Hike to Wangditse Lhakhang

What inspired you to take up the project?

I was inspired to start the Spiritual Hike Project to help Scouts develop inner peace, mindfulness, discipline, and a deeper appreciation of nature and cultural values. The hike provided an opportunity to combine physical activity, reflection, spiritual learning, and fellowship.

What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?

The spiritual hike helped Scouts develop mindfulness, discipline, resilience, and respect for cultural and spiritual values. They learned the importance of reflection, teamwork, respecting sacred places, and maintaining a positive and peaceful mind.

Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?

The project was carried out through a planned hike to a spiritual and culturally significant site. Scouts travelled together under proper guidance, observed safety and environmental practices, and took part in moments of reflection and spiritual learning. The activity encouraged discipline, mindfulness, teamwork, and respect for cultural values.
