University of Nairobi Scouts joined the Kenya National Police Service in the launch of the International Police Administration Nationwide tree planting initiative by planting 500 trees in the Kenya Police Staff College compound. The college has reserved 10% of its compound for tree planting and pledged to work with scouts to ensure more trees are planted and taken care of. This is towards the call to meet the 10% forest cover in Kenya from 3%. The event was graced by the Inspector General of Police who also appreciated the scouts for the good work they are doing towards conserving the environment.
