Overview On August 17, 2024, a successful Scout Camp was conducted at the Tashithang MSS assembly ground, organized by DSA under the leadership of Mr. Yonten Norbu. The event aimed to enhance the skills and teamwork of Nazhoen scouts from classes VII to X. #### Topics Covered The camp included various essential scouting skills and activities: 1. **Basic GPS:** Scouts learned to navigate using GPS technology. 2. **Basic Drill:** Participants practiced fundamental drills to improve discipline and coordination. 3. **Flag Hosting and Lowering:** Scouts were instructed on the proper procedures for flag etiquette. 4. **Sign and Signal:** Training on communication through signs and signals was provided. 5. **Rope and Knot:** Scouts learned various knots and their practical applications. 6. **Games and Yell, Aerobic Dance:** Fun activities included games, cheers, and aerobic dance sessions to promote physical fitness and camaraderie. #### Participation - **Number of Students:** 398 - **Number of Teachers:** 7 - **Leadership Participants:** 9 #### Schedule The camp ran from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, providing a full day of learning and activities for all participants. #### Conclusion The Scout Camp was a remarkable success, fostering teamwork, skills development, and engagement among the scouts.
