Messengers of Peace project in Croatia After a very succesful summer scout camp for children from parts of Croatia devastated by flood, this week Scout Association of Croatia continues their activities as part of Messengers of Peace project. Our members visited two homes for children without adequate parental care in Rijeka and Split. They bought what was most needed, for example medical children's bed, workshop materials, hygiene products but also some candies to make the smiles even bigger. After presenting children with presents, our scouts organised for them some interesting workshops and games. In Rijeka, at one of the workshops, the scouts made with children beautiful dove out of clay as a symbol of Messengers of Peace. The project continues next week in three more cities in Croatia; Varazdin, Vinkovci and Zagreb.
