A team lead by Scout Masters Amar Dev Singh, Dr Khem Raj Sharma, Ved Kumar and Rakesh Sharma of Bharat Scouts and Guides of District Udhampur has been campaigning for making masks and distributing them to the needy since the Carona period in March. The masks are being stitched continuously by the volunteers of the organization ie Scouts, Guides, Scout Masters, Guide Captains etc and then they are being distributed to the needy people in the villages and cities. It is also being appealed to them to stay with mask while moving out of their houses.Scout Master Rakesh Sharma informed that more than five thousand masks have been distributed by the their since March.We came to Dhanori village for awareness a few days ago, so the villagers did not have masks in this slum. In this series today, we distributed 185 masks here and made people aware to protect them from Corona. At the end of the program, hygiene songs were sung by the Scout Masters Amardev Singh and Ved Kumar under the cleanliness drive and cleaning was done around the Primary School, Dhanori. Headmistress Aparna Sharma was also presented during the Mask distribution and Cleanliness drive.
