Leadership in the Modern Day and Good Citizenship Values
FEU Roosevelt Tertiary Department and Graduate School presented a webinar titled, Leadership in the Modern Day and Good Citizen Values. Luckily, FEU Roosevelt Rodriguez Rovers was approved to be a part of the webinar.
Hon. Coun. Julia Monroy led the AM session that tackled about leadership in the modern-day. She has overwhelming credentials, and it was privileged to have her as a guest speaker. Councilor Monroy introduced herself by presenting her journey of being a leader and genuinely boosting the students' morale to continue their role as a leader. She provided inspiring insights on how to become an effective leader. Such that it does not stop learning from time to time. Hence, they are thirsty for knowledge. Also, their heart must be close to the people because leaders serve the community. Making decisions for the greater good is always a must. Don't make decisions for the benefit of self-reputation, hence, for the people.
The PM session started by introducing the guest speaker, Ms. Aurelle Marie Gonzales, who discussed good citizenship values. As expected, she has many intuitions about being a good citizen, that working to be a good citizen creates a better country. A good citizen would fonder in defending the rights of the fellow Filipinos. Be aware of the current situations of the country and stand for something. Be an active member of the community.
