The Head of the National Board of NOSU Andriy Chesnokov, NOSU National Secretary Natalia Myroshnichenko, NOSU International Secretary Veronika Gorovska and the First Vice-President of the National Board of UEB Oscar Palmquist were received the Head of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church (UGCC) H.B. Sviatoslav in H.B. Residence at the Patriarchal Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ, in Kyiv, January 19. During the meeting, the Scout leaders presented to the Head of UGCC the current results of the International Scout Refugee Support Project "Scouts for Ukraine" that was launched by UEB and NOSU last year. H.B. Sviatoslav called the project "outstanding" for young people of both countries. In addition, O.Palmquist presented H.B. Sviatoslav the idea of establishment by UEB the scout groups for Brazialians of Ukrainian origin with the help of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in Brazil. H.B. Sviatoslav has given his blessing for the project and noted the full support of UGCC of this idea. He emphasized that Scouting is the best way for connection of young people with Church and Society in their own (young people) way.
