The Kenya Scouts Association has been recommended for GSAT Certification after attaining a Score of 90.2% in a GSAT Audit which took place on 28th - 29th of September 2016, at the Associations Headquarters, Rowallan International Camp Nairobi. GSAT is an International Service Certification Standard aimed at Assessing the Accountability of Organizations/National Scout Organizations (NSOs) and Serve as a reference of Best Practices for the NSOs. The Association has a membership of over 1.3 Million boys and girls Scouts with a total of 40,000 Scout Leaders.
