JENESYS2022 (Batch 2) on the theme "ENERGY"

This is my journey of exchange program in Japan, 2023. I attended the JENESYS2022 (batch 2) on the theme "Energy" that was organized by JICE(Japan International Corporation Center) on February 22nd to 28th, this year. A week long program in Japan was consisted of 60 participants, 10 each members from six different SAARC countries including our country namely Nepal, Maldives, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. From Bhutan, we are of five males and five females. We are all scout leaderships and currently we are studying in different colleges in the country and I am here in Sherubtse College of Education pursuing BSc in Data Science. The Japan East-Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) program was based on Renewable Energy which plays a vital role in climate action that is one of the world's most concern at the present moment. Throughout the programmed, we attended some lectures on the theme energy and at present Japan is taking accountability for their carbon footprint, attempting to overcome obstacles and moving towards renewable resources like offshore wind is very enlightening. We had seen the purely white smoke emits from the industries when we visited 'Kawasaki Eco Mirai-kan' which had a massive solar panel plant and a museum that educated us on recycling and the value of protecting environment. The one of the university known as Chiba university of Commerce had a exemplary action that they never misused energies and used solar panel energy in and around the campus. We also got the chance to visited one of the corner side of Japan and witnessed local people's dedication to their works. They had very systematic and well organized activities in any fields that inspire rest of the world. Japanese had proper used of infrastructures and lived a very standard lifestyle. They had well treasured traditional cultures despite being the advanced country in the world. Therefore, from this exchange program I got motivated and inspired to work harder in order to served our king, country and the people.
