Involved in food and refreshment serving

The project was inspired by the desire to serve the nation through collaboration with different communities, learn the importance of public service, culture, and ethics, and strengthen Scouts’ involvement in community service. It provided an opportunity for Scouts to interact with the community, promote social harmony, and contribute meaningfully to society.

Through the project, I learned that serving the community is an important responsibility of every citizen. I also gained a better understanding of cultural exchange, ethical service, and the role of Scouts in promoting peace and supporting communities. The project was implemented in collaboration with the Rhododendron Festival coordinators. Scout volunteers were arranged from the school and given service training by the school’s culture coordinators. Transportation was arranged through the school bus, and the Scouts served snacks, lunch, and evening tea to people attending the celebration before returning after the programme.
