Investiture ceremony of Chey Chey Scout

The Investiture Ceremony at Arekha Primary School marked a proud and inspiring milestone as 40 young students officially joined the scouting family. The event served not only as a celebration but also as a platform for nurturing leadership, responsibility, and community engagement among the new members.

The ceremony began with a vibrant procession, reflecting the discipline, unity, and spirit of the scouts. The Chey Chey Scouts Commissioner addressed the gathering, emphasizing how scouting helps young people grow through service, environmental stewardship, and personal development. He reminded the new recruits of their roles as responsible citizens committed to helping others and making positive contributions to their community.

A highlight of the event was the presentation of scarves to each new member an important symbol of their promise to uphold the values and principles of scouting. Cultural performances by the scouts added color and excitement to the occasion, showcasing their creativity and talent.

With hands raised and hearts committed, the 40 young scouts took the Scout Oath, pledging to live by the Scout Law and embody the spirit of service and integrity.
