Happy International Peace Day! Today, our Rovers Scouts had the honor of celebrating International Peace Day alongside Samtse Higher and Lower Secondary Schools under the theme “Cultivating a Culture of Peace.” The event began with a warm welcome from the coordinators of Samtse Lower Secondary School and was filled with presentations, skits, and vibrant cultural performances from participants. We were also delighted to have the presence of parents who joined us in commemorating this special day, along with Nachung and Nazhoen Scouts. The program concluded with a traditional shamdray and suja, fostering a sense of unity and joy. Such initiatives not only strengthen our collaboration with local scouts but also promote the essence of peace and happiness in our communities.
