International Day of Happiness

World Happiness Day is an annual event that takes place on March 20th. It was first observed in 2013 and was declared by the United Nations General Assembly to recognize the importance of happiness and well-being as universal goals and aspirations of human beings around the world. The day is an opportunity to promote and celebrate the idea that happiness is a fundamental human right and that efforts should be made to improve the well-being of people everywhere. It is also a time to raise awareness of the need for more equitable, inclusive, and sustainable economic and social development that promotes happiness and well-being for all. On this day, many organizations, communities, and individuals around the world participate in events and activities aimed at promoting happiness and well-being, such as mindfulness practices, community gatherings, and other initiatives. Thus, School Happiness and Well - Being team organized various activities befitting the day to celebrate and promote happiness in the school.
