Khagrachari District Rover Scout Team conducts annual hiking and nature observation activities for Rovers and Girl-in Rovers to learn about nature and environment and maintain physical and mental fitness. On Tuesday (17th October) morning, the hiking and nature observation program officially started with the rover scout's prayer music performance at Manikchari Mong Rajbari organized by district rover. 120 Rovers and Girl-in Rovers from 23 units of the district participated in it. The rover members split into different sub-groups and began the trek on a 7 km long hike. They go through various steps including compass, step counter and treasure hunt to find the main hiking destination and road map. The rovers were instructed to go to Manikchari DC Park as the main destination for Guptadhane. After completing the hike at 2:00 pm, the closing ceremony and certificate break will be held at DC Park. Manikchari Upazila Chairman Md Zainal Abedin was present as the chief guest in the closing ceremony under the chairmanship of Upazila Nibarhi Officer (Acting) Shahina Nacharin.
