The Kuala Lumpur Scouts of the Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia held its Founders Day Carnival on the 23rd of February at Seri Bintang Utara Secondary School. Over 1200 participants partook in this grand event, which exceeded expectations. One of the main highlights in this carnival was the Better World Framework Booth organised by the KL Zonice Rovers. For the first time ever, the booth organisers decided to include awareness on the He For She movement where Cub Scouts, Junior Scouts and Senior Scouts were exposed to the He For She cause and were given awareness on gender equality. Resources were taken from the He For She and WOSM Action Kit. At the end of the activity, over 1000 participants signed a petition showing commitment to the cause. 

The committee is commited to hold more awareness activities on He For She and gender equality. More programmes related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) will also be held in the future. As for future improvements, the committee is committed to improve the data collection process on participants that have visited the booth and to record people committed to the He For She cause. However, as this is the first initiative ever done towards the He For She cause, the committee is very pleased with the response from the participants as many showed commitment and sincerity is making an impact towards the issue of gender equality.
