The Governor of Kano State, HE: Abdullahi Ganduje - OFR, has promised to double the numbers of Scouts within Kano State. The Association emphasized the Excellent work of the Immediate past Governor of Lagos State, HE: Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) who during his tenure raised over 50,000 Scouts within Lagos State alone. This monumental fit was highly encouraging and His Excellency the Governor of Kano promised to do and even surpass same. This promise was handed down, during the Investiture of the Governor as the Patron of Kano State Scout Council. The ceremony was performed by the Leadership of The Scout Association of Nigeria and we wish our good Governor of Kano State, HE: Abdullahi Ganduje -OFR successes in Governance. Same thanks goes out to the Head of Scouting in Kano, His Highness Sanusi Lamido-II Sarkin Kano who is the President of Kano State Scout Council and Member of The Scout Association Board of Trustees.
