Scouts go Solar project is being received and accepted well all around the world. It shows the interest of scouts to the need of the alternate sources of energy. Solar Ambassadors in different countries are trying to create awareness of the solar energy as a renewable source of energy through many different activities. Somewhere workshop is being conducted and somewhere the youth is being involved in road shows, conferences and seminars on climate change and renewable/solar energy are being organised as well. This wide range of activities has created the need of coordination to provide support and assistance to NSOs. As, I am newly appointed “Global Scouts go Solar Coordinator”, it is my responsibility to support Solar Ambassadors and NSOs to implement the activities regarding solar. I hope, through global coordination all the persons/ Solar Ambassadors would be able to share their experience and expertise and our youth would be able to yoke the sun in the form of energy for the benefit of mankind as the future is of SOLAR.
