A Geocaching booth was setup during the 108th year of Scouting in Kuala Lumpur camporee held at Victoria Institution where the first registered troop in Kuala Lumpur was formed formed back in 1909. The camporee was held from 5th - 7th of August 2017 with participation from several states. There were approximately 150 scouts who visited the booth on that day and attempted to play geocaching within the camporee site. Some local geocachers were also there assisting at the booth and explaining to the scouts what geocaching is about.
