Prep scout group ,39th Colombo Scout group was started in early 1944.Since the group has benefited the community by producing quality scouts, and gentlemen,Apart from the books,we thought of celebrating founders day in a unique way.We thought of having an awareness program,cleanup session,and a fundraiser. Prep scouts started up with a fund-raiser where the patrols sold handmade bookmarks, featuring and making people aware of the scouting founders day.As we are a school,the troop had a till, for people who wish to donate.The amount collected by the till and the fundraiser ,40% will go to charity and 60% will go to the troop fund. They involved cubscouts for the project,a small thinking quiz was also made, bp story was shown to make awareness of the scouts more.
