Today, scouts (57 out of 74) 41/51 girls and 16/23 boys from GSMUTARA started the project introduction, on the project we decided to work on growing Dodo vegetables and yams, after seeing the problem we had in our camp of eating beans without vegetables, and the ones that were available were not enough. We also saw that someone they gave a contract to supply vegetables sometimes did not bring them, (they did not have enough), and we also saw that the money going to the farm was high, we decided as scouts to be the catalyst for getting vegetables (Dodo) in large quantities, and yams on the edges of the fields. This meeting we held was to explain to them how our project we decided to do will be done, who will do it, and how it will be done. We explain what the Food for Life project is, what it aims to do is to increase food production and prepare a complete meal. We exchanged ideas on the tools we will use, how we will get seedlings, fertilizer, .... We have decided that next week we will start planting and even planting seeds We have decided that after we have enough vegetables in our camp, each scout will also plant a vegetable garden in their home so that no one will ever eat a meal without vegetables or buy vegetables at the market, but the money they used to buy them will be used for other things.
