FFL for healthier & sustainable future for Africa
In the face of rising food insecurity, malnutrition, and youth unemployment, a transformative initiative is taking root across Africa. The Food for Life Project is empowering communities in Ethiopia, Malawi, and Rwanda by combining sustainable agriculture, nutrition education, and youth leadership to build resilient food systems and healthier futures.
This regional initiative, grounded in the values of Scouting’s non-formal education, is more than a food program—it’s a movement. It equips young people with the knowledge and skills to grow food organically, make informed nutritional choices, and lead their communities toward long-term sustainability.
