On the 1st - 3rd of October, a community solar training for the Domboshava rural village was done to help raise awareness and foster the education for solar energy and help meet the deforestation challenge currently being faced by the community. Due to the increasing population , energy demands have been rising causing people to cut trees for cooking and lighting among other purposes. Solar energy can be used to met other functions which the community had been using wood for e.g. cooking - lighting - among other things. About 18 men and women from various parts of the village were trained who after the trained joined the earth tribe network with a strong passion for saving the planet through fostering the solar education.
