West Bengal State Bharat Scouts and Guides Organised a workshop at Gangaram scouts & guides training centre,kolkata,W.B. from 10 Sep 22 to 11 Sep 22 with participants from each districts of the state.

Day-1 (10 Sept 2022) :

Day initiated with warm welcome and ice breaker as an integration session followed by welcome greeting. Overall 30 participants from 17 districts and 9 staff members from SHQ and 1 Resource speaker from the NHQ. Objective of the workshop was explained by the Mr. Kaushik Chatterjee, S.G.C..Further expectations of the participants was compiled and placed to ensure that each objectives and expectations of participants will meet at the end. •Mission and vision of BSG was put in light by resource speaker from NHQ Mr. Arup Sarkar,session also put forward needs of growth. •Recruitment and retention strategies of the member was well explained by Mr. Madhusudan AS,A.I.C.,BSG India via virtual platform. •Scope of expansion of scouting & guiding in local and district level. Meeting the targets established by BSG by Mr. Arup Sarkar. •Current census of districts and its proposed target was represented by NHQ and methodologies to achieve targets. •Before next session Shri K.S. Rammamoorthy, E.D.,BSG,India gave his attention to each participants and its growth Techniques. •Membership Growth campaign was well explained and led by Mr. sarath raj, Manager Growth Cell.

Day-2 (11 Sept 2022) :

•Reflection and Recap by Mr. Kaushik Chatterjee.. •Day started from the session on OYMS Training by Mr. Bablu Goswami,A.D.Eastern. Troubleshooting methods explained with help of videos. This session had been filled with lot of challenges in the minds which was clarified and explained, some challenges which was not implemented yet in the platforms has been noted and valuable suggestions were kept noted for the further development of the OYMS portal. •Further Growth plan Achieving Targets was lead by S.G.C. Mr. K.C. •Mapping the Basic Courses til Dec 2022 by S.G.C Mr. Kaushik Chatterjee, Mr. Tapan Dhar,STC,WB and Mr. Prabir Dey, ASTC, WB and it was planned that many district association will hold Basic Courses at their D.A. with the help of the SHQ on or before Dec 2022. •Road Map and Action Plan by S.G.C. and it was discussed by all the participants,Road map and action plan made by the District Growth Coordinators. •Open Discussion on Growth Activities and Target by Mr. K.C. supported by Mr. Arup Sarkar, Mr. Tapan Dhar, Mr. Prabir Dey and Mr. Probodh Ranjan Biswas.
