I am privileged to be part of the Digitalise youths program which started yesterday, June 13 2025. Digitalise Youth (DYP) is an initiative designed for young people aged 20–30. It aims to guide them in using digital spaces particularly social media more productively and responsibly. As a fully digital project, activities and content are shared through participants’ online accounts across 14 African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Ethiopia, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, and Togo. DYP focuses on citizenship and democracy, empowering youth to engage meaningfully in their communities. We are currently being thought how to use the Scout donation platform SDP, I am amazed that I can even post this right now. There's more to learn as the program ends tomorrow, Sunday June 15 2025.
