Couveuse Kobòny: from a scout project to a startup

In Madagascar, these young ingenious scouts have designed a low cost egg incubator and won the Startup Weekend Avaradrano contest. The concept: an incubator, a production of local chicks, and a supply service for farmers, all at a very competitive price. TSITSIHY Mandamy, accompanied by his two teammates RABETRENA Tahiry and RAKOTOMALALA Fenosoa David have set up their startup "Couveuse Kobòny" as part of their scouting project, they decided to go further through this competition and make it a real entrepreneurial project. This is how scouting can contribute to SDG 8 (employment) and SDG 9 (innovation)
