Climate Walk
What inspired you to take up the project?
The Climate Walk was motivated by the need to raise awareness about climate change and encourage Scouts to take action to protect the environment. It provided an opportunity to promote environmental responsibility, sustainable living, and community participation through active learning and service.
What are the learnings you got from implementing this project and how would you make it better?
The Climate Walk helped Scouts understand the causes and impacts of climate change and the importance of protecting the environment. They learned that individual and collective actions, such as reducing waste, conserving resources, and raising awareness, can contribute to a more sustainable community.
Where was your project implemented and how did you execute it?
The Climate Walk was carried out through a community awareness walk where Scouts walked together while promoting messages on climate change and environmental protection. They engaged with the community, shared simple climate-awareness messages, and encouraged responsible actions such as reducing waste and protecting nature.
