His Lordship Hon. Justice Godwin J. Abraham appreciates God for a successful Civil Service Career as He is set to retire from Civil Service by next week.

The Special Thanksgiving Service themed; More than Conquerors, held today Sunday 27th June 2021, at The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Dominion Mega Parish, Akwa Ibom Province 1 Headquarters, Off Ring Road 3, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

Narrating some of His ordeals in the course of His service, His Lordship highlighted that God has been the source of His successful Career and encouraged all to remain steadfast in God’s Grace.

The Event was graced by a host of dignitaries and professionals within and outside the state. Notable amongst these included:

• The Executive Arm of Government and the Entire Political Class in Akwa Ibom State led by the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel.

• The Legislative Arm of Government both at State and National Level

• The Judiciary, which witnessed the presence of Senior Advocates of Nigeria (SAN), Chief Judges from various States, Judges of varying standing within the Judiciary setting, Lawyers, Judiciary Staff, etc.

• Clergymen of varying denominations

• The Scout Association of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State Scout Council

• Family, Friends and well-wishers within and outside the State and the Country at large.

Speaking during the Event, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel, appreciated God for a successful career of the Chief Judge, He admonished all to remain steadfast in the grace of God through prayers and intercession for the State and Nigeria in General.

The reception was held at Emerald Events Centre, Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

The Inspection of Special Guard of Honour and Valedictory Court Session is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, 29th June, 2021 at Akwa Ibom State Judiciary Headquarters, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
