To celebrate world water day
The project was inspired by the importance of disease prevention, maintaining healthy bodily functions, the human right to safe drinking water, and environmental sustainability. It aimed to promote awareness about the importance of keeping water sources clean and protecting the environment. Through the project, we learned the importance of minimising plastic waste, maintaining clean and safe drinking water sources, and working together with the community to protect our surroundings.
The project was implemented through the cleaning of riverbanks, surrounding areas, and drinking water sources. Students were divided by class and assigned different areas to clean. The collected waste was properly segregated to promote responsible waste management. The cleaning activity was carried out for approximately three hours, with students working together to keep the water sources and surrounding environment clean and safe.
