Celebrate Peace: Small Actions, Big Impact!

The International Day of Peace (IDP) program was organized in Pachu Primary School in three distinct phases. The first phase consisted of a PowerPoint presentation introducing the significance of the day, emphasizing the annual theme, the value of peace in everyday life, and the role of individual actions in promoting harmony. The second phase focused on student engagement, during which participants recorded their personal peace commitments on symbolic cut-out shapes such as doves or leaves and place them on a “Peace Tree.” The final phase highlighted parental involvement, wherein students invite their parents or guardians to articulate what peace means to them and how they intend to foster it within their families and communities. These responses were compiled and showcased in the form of poetry, artwork, or written messages, thereby reinforcing the collective commitment to peace.
