The Boy Scouts of the Philippines, in partnership with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (Central Bank) and the Philippine Postal Corporation recently launched on 30 August 2014, the commemorative medallion, stamps and other philatelic products in commemoration of the 100 Years Celebration of the Introduction of the Scouting Program in the Philippines. The medallion, stamps and other philatelic products are part of the wide variety of commemorative merchandise that the Boy Scouts of the Philippines is selling in order to generate funds to finance most of its activities for the centennial celebration. The Launching and Unveiling Ceremony was attended by the Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines and President of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Hon. Jejomar C. Binay, and almost all of the members of the National Executive Board, members of the professional staff of the BSP National Office, volunteers Scouts and Scout Leaders and many others.
