The Brown Olive Project.

The Brown olive for community livelihoods and environment conservation is a project meant to educate the community on agro forestry and protection of our environment. it enhances the harmony amongst the Biodiversity in one ecosystem. It encourages the community to be keen with the natural resources while practicing their agricultural and economic activities by teaching them on the ways to curb climate change and mitigate the global warming by increasing our forest cover. The project also addresses them to live and align their daily activities with as per the SDGs. With the help of the Community Based Organizations (CBO) leaders I conducted a training on Indigenous tree planting with the Mwihoti AIC group who marked the day by planting the Olea tree and took part in transplanting seedlings from the nursery bed to the tree bags.
