BRIGADA ESKWELA (National Schools Maintenance Week) 2019
Brigada Eskwela or the National Schools Maintenance Week is a nationwide initiative by the Department of Education (DepEd) that mobilizes thousands of parents, alumni, civic groups, local businesses, non-government organizations, teachers, students, and individuals who volunteer their time and skills to do repairs, maintenance work, and clean-up of public elementary and secondary schools. This nationwide caravan is held simultaneously across the country’s 16 regions.
In line with the VISION 2025 BSP’s Strategy Map towards our Strategic Priority on “Community Involvement” under the perspective of “Social Impact” through “Scout Helping Create Better Communities”, the BSP Philippines enjoins all Scouting Regions, Local Councils, Scouting Districts/Areas and Sponsoring Institutions to provide volunteer assistance and support to the BRIGADA ESKWELA (National Schools Maintenance Week) 2019 on May 20 to 24, 2019, pursuant to the DepEd Order No. 25, series of 2019. Thus, the Senior Scouts of Casisang National High School participated in this event.
