Boy Scout Saves 3-year-old Younger Sister From Blazing Fire.
In the spirit of scouting , the Kulim Rover Scout ‘A’ Troop, Kedah launched a fundraising campaign to help fire victims in Kampung Padang, Kulim.
The house, gutted by the fire, belonged to the family of twelve-year-old Muhammad Amin Zaidi, who is a registered Scout member and a Troop Leader of Tunku Abdul Malik Primary School (SKTAM), Kulim, Kedah.
On the day of the incident, Muhammad Amin and his 3-year-old younger sister, who was asleep, were inside the burning house. Muhammad Amin, in true scouting spirit, quickly carried his still sleeping younger sister out of the blaze to safety.
No casualties were reported. Due to the fire, the family lost their home, important documents and all other belongings .
The Kulim Rover Scout ‘A’ Troop, with the cooperation of Tunku Abdul Malik Primary School, welcomes donations to help out with the misfortune that has befallen the family. The collection of funds will be opened until 30 June 2019.
