The Bharat Scouts and Guides of Waltair Division of East Coast Railway, Organized Swatchh Bharat at RK beach, Visakhapatnam on 22.09.2019 to achieve the SDG Goal No.13 Climate Action as the Theme of International Peace Day -2019.

In which more than 60 Scouts, Guides Rovers, Rangers and Unit Leaders actively participated and rendering services. The cleanliness drive started with awareness rally; in which all the participates aware the visitors of beach regarding the pollution in beach.

Moreover, Scouts and Rovers picked up trash comprising empty cans, poythene bags and plastic bottles and disposed it of properly. within an hour, all are filled their trash bags with, some even carrying extra bags.

The activity aimed at creating awareness among the younger generation about the importance of keeping the environment clean, hygienic and free of pollution.
