Scouts, Guides, Adult Leaders and other officials of East Calcutta Bharat Scouts and Guides District Association observed a community rally to stop using the crackers on the occation of Diwali, the festival of lights on 18th october 2017. total 85 participants took part in this event. The Kolkata Police also marched with us and helped us with all cornar to accomodate the rally a grand success. The objectives of the rally was to aware the common people to stop using noise making crackers which very bad for our environment. we also aware people about the pollution and bad effect of the air. We also squandered the sky lanterns to spread the peace and lights of happiness thought the environment to all the people. We distributed some non sound crackers among the poor children to celebrate this festival with lights and joy.
